Teaching areas and approach: Media Fellows, Media. I like to use what’s happening right now as a teaching source. Television & Media are always on, always changing and very accessible. It’s a real-time lab.
Research interests: Media influence and the “Mean Girl” syndrome in elementary age girls. The efficacy of green messaging in the African American & Latino communities.
Current research project or creative work: The American Dream Media Project.

Coolest thing you’ve done in the last few years: I did a training simulation at the FBI in Los Angeles and scored high enough to make it onto their special tactics team!
