Teaching areas and approach:  My approach to video games is grounded in the areas of aesthetics, narrative, and economics.

Research interests:  Video games, cinema, comic books, science fiction, popular culture

Current research project or creative work:  I am currently working on a chapter about The Walking Dead video game.

Coolest thing you’ve done in the last few years:  Besides moving to North Carolina, I traveled a lot in summer 2011, including a camping trip to Lake Superior in Canada.
