Current Research:  A Swiftian analysis modeled after the post-Frankfort school’ s interpretation of the hegemony inherent in the Pearson coefficient when applied to neo-parametric metrics. Informed by Habermas’ concept of the “public sphere,” my study of this “other” transcends the rhetoric of Aristotle, ultimately to be realized in a self-flagellant interpretation of Derrida. Of course, it is written with the wit and erudition of E. L. James.

Teaching areas and approach:  I generally teach those subjects that don’t interest other faculty in the department. My pedagogy centers on ranting and raving.

Favorite Movie:  The Gene Krupa Story

Favorite Novel:  Wikipedia

Favorite quote:  “A woman is only a woman, but a good cigar is a smoke.” Rudyard Kipling.

Favorite song:  “The Candyman,” by Sammy Davis Jr.

Coolest thing I’ve done:  Thrown a whining faculty member out of my third floor office window; (tie) wrote this.
