Faculty Recital: JW Turner with Mayumi Osada, “Traditional and Popular Music of Japan.”

With the support of the HPU Anime Club and in conjunction with JW Turner’s research, this program will present evocations of Japanese traditional music, including Toshiro Mayuzumi’s “Bunraku for Solo Cello” (1960), as well as a group of songs from the popular anime series “Bakemonogatari.

Open to the public. No tickets required.
