HPUniverse Day 2018

September 29 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Free Astronomy Activities for Kids and Adults of All Ages!

HPUniverse Day is a free educational outreach event held in the Department of Physics at High Point University in the Fall. Visitors are encouraged to explore space, science, and beyond through 20 different learning stations and activities. Visit enough stations, and you can collect a prize! While many of the activities are geared towards kids and their families, there are several that adults will enjoy, too! HPUniverse Day was inspired by AstroFest, which is held each year in the Department of Astronomy & Astrophysics at Penn State University. Volunteers include HPU professors, students, local amateur astronomers, and friends of the department. Over 2,000 people total attended our first two HPUniverse Day events!
