Visions 2017: Food For Thought

Our Fifth Annual Invitational exhibition, which is open to all for submissions will tie in with the university’s Common Experience theme for the academic year. In January the emphasis will be on Exercising Food Justice, looking at connections among injustice, hunger and food production. In February the topic will be The Culture of Food which is about food diversity. This exhibition will address those issues and more.  It will be curated by Greg Shelnutt who is the Department of Art Chair at Clemson, who will choose the top three winners of this exhibition.

Opening Reception will be Thursday, February 2 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with talk by guest sculptor Greg Shelnutt.

Sechrest Art Gallery Hours:

Tuesday – Friday from 9:00am – 12:00pm and 1:00pm – 5:00pm
