The HPU Wind Ensemble will perform its first concert of the academic year on Friday, October 4th at 7:30pm in HPU's Hayworth Fine Arts Center. Movie Music Extravaganza will feature a variety of musical styles used in film music from classical, to jazz, popular music and Broadway.  Highlights of the program include music from Star Wars, Pink Panther, Harry Potter, and Disney films. HPU welcomes to campus Associate Professor of Trombone at the University of Kansas, Dr. Michael Davidson, for a 7:30pm recital on Monday, October 7th at the David Hayworth Chapel.  Dr. Davidson will perform a varied program of solos works for trombone, as well as pieces for trombone with piano.
