Opera Scenes: Die Fledermaus

Johann Strauss II, known as “The Waltz King,” was the musical star of Vienna, Austria at the end of the 19th century. His comic operetta Die Fledermaus (The Bat) captures the elegance and opulence of pre-World War I Viennese society. Students enrolled in Opera Scenes will perform a concert version of this beautiful and whimsical operetta, sung in English and accompanied by piano and strings. Piano Division Series: Holiday Concert

North Carolina Symphony: Holiday Pops Concert

This performance is supported by the Anne Kerr Walker Community Events Fund. Holiday Pops is a North Carolina Symphony tradition that is a favorite with audiences around the state. The festive concert showcases seasonal favorites and the always popular sing-a-longs. Lessons and Carols

This special candlelight service is the final Chapel service of the fall semester, bringing the community together to remember and retell the Christmas story.
