HPU Holiday Choral Concert

Tuesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 5 at 7:30 pm

Hayworth Fine Arts Center, Pauline Theatre

Open to the Public

Our annual Holiday Choral Concert has become a popular event for the High Point community and this year will be the most exciting to date! The concert will be a festive evening of beloved holiday music. A full orchestra made up of students, faculty, and guests will accompany this concert.

A limited number of complimentary tickets will be available at the Campus Concierge desk for HPU students, faculty, and staff with a valid HPU Passport Card. A limited number of complimentary tickets will be available by contacting 336-841-9209 or reservations@highpoint.edu .

Lessons and Carols

Wednesday, December 4 at 5:30 pm

Hayworth Chapel

Open to the Public, No Tickets Required

This special candlelight service will feature members of the university community, the Chapel Choir and the Flute Ensemble. The Board of Stewards, Alpha Delta Theta sorority and Alpha Phi Omega fraternity will serve as ushers and greeters. The service is based on the traditional Festival of Lessons and Carols at King’s College, Cambridge, England.

NCSymphony

North Carolina Symphony

Wednesday, December 4 at 7:30 pm

Hayworth Fine Arts Center, Pauline Theatre

Professional Dress Required, Open to the Public

Each year during the holidays, the North Carolina Symphony performs Holiday Pops, a festive tradition that is a favorite with audiences around the state!   Founded by Lamar Stringfield in 1932, the North Carolina Symphony is a full-time, professional orchestra with 65 members under the artistic leadership of Music Director Grant Llewellyn.

HPU Campus Christmas Celebration

Wednesday, December 18 and Thursday, December 19 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm

Kester International Promenade

Open to the Public, No Tickets Required

Guests may stroll the Kester International Promenade, hear local choir performances, enjoy hot chocolate and warm cookies, and the little ones may even get a special present from Santa.
