Tracy is a 1998 graduate of High Point University with a B.S in Psychology. As a student, Tracy was named captain of the cheerleading squad and served as the Chairperson for the inaugural year of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Tracy received her M.S. in Sport Psychology from Springfield College in December 2003 after which she served as head coach for HPU’s cheerleading squad for 3 seasons.
Tracy currently serves as the Past-President of the NC Adult Education Association after serving as President (2011),Vice President (2010) and a board member (2008-2009). Tracy is also a member of the American Educational Researchers Association (AERA) and the Associate of Continuing Higher Education (ACHE) of which she received the 2010 Wayne Whelan Scholarship Award. The scholarship is given annually to an ACHE member engaged in graduate studies on either a full-time or part-time basis. Tracy was a presenter at the 2008 Datatel Users Group (DUG) conference on Paperless Registration. Currently, Tracy is pursuing her Ed.D. in Adult and Higher Education through NC State University with a research interest of leadership in higher education.
Off campus, Tracy has been a big sister in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program and a volunteer with the Junior Achievement and Special Olympics Organizations. Tracy began with High Point University in 2002.
