The HPU Employee Wellness Program began in 2013 as a participation, points-based program to help employees improve their health and wellness journey. By participating in various wellness activities, employees who elect to take High Point University’s Medical Plan can potentially earn a $600 premium reduction for the 2018-2019 benefits plan year.
The mission of the HPU Wellness Program is to generate enthusiasm and cultivate excitement about personal health and wellness, which leads to improved quality of life and helps build a vibrant and extraordinary work environment. The program is dedicated to promoting healthier lifestyles, increasing awareness of personal health, and providing education and tools to assist in improving health. With the influence of community involvement, we will empower the HPU family to make sustainable positive changes in their lives, and thus model behavior for our students that healthy living is an important and lifelong journey.
It is with great excitement that the Employee Wellness Program is here to serve the faculty and staff at High Point University. We are embarking on a great journey toward wellness. As we travel, we will share joys and struggles, the role of the Employee Wellness department is to celebrate the joys and help you navigate through the struggles.
