Have you heard?

10.18.2012

Can you all believe that I’ve been part of the High Point University family for three months already? I certainly can’t. Midterms are already over! Yeah, I can’t believe it either. Oh well, I truly couldn’t be happier to call High Point University “home” for the next four years.

Have ya’ll (too southern?) heard about the new Biomechanics and Human Physiology Laboratories we’re building here? Well, if you haven’t, they are currently under construction and they will both contain the most advanced equipment in the field of health and sciences!  Here, students will study injury prevention and rehabilitation, in addition to studying the methods to improve human physiologic response to activity and overall physical performance.  These facilities are sure to give our students an opportunity to gain incredible hands on experience in their respective fields.

Additionally, the Nido R. Qubein School of Communication recently introduced David Neal as the chairman of the school’s advisory board. Mr. Neal is a 34-time Emmy award-winning producer, Fox’s World Cup Coordinator, and one of the most successful people in sports television. Things just keep getting better and better here at High Point University, and the addition of Mr. David Neal is exciting for the entire High Point University family.

As you can see, things are running pretty smoothly here in North Carolina. High Point University is doing anything and everything possible to ensure an incomparable educational experience. I am given every opportunity to grow and learn as a student, an intellectual, and an aspiring young professional, and attending High Point University has certainly given me the confidence and experience to be successful both inside and outside the classroom.

Until Next Time,

Jason
