Expectations of Chapter Advisors
Chapter advisors should be prepared to participate with the chapter in the following ways:
- Be familiar with all national organization policies and expectations of being a chapter advisor
- Be trained or certified by as required by the national organization
- Review chapter grades and serve as a resource for academic improvement
- In order to review grades advisors must sign a FERPA statement regarding confidentiality.
- This statement should be signed and returned to the Office of Greek Life or greek@highpoint.edu
- Chapter_Advisor_Confidentiality Agreement
- Maintain contact with the Director/Assistant Director of Greek Life
- Attend Advisor Meetings held once a semester by the Office of Greek Life

Expectations of Faculty Advisors
Faculty advisors should be prepared to participate with the chapter in the following ways:
- Attend chapter meeting at least once a semester
- Review chapter grades and serve as a resource for academic improvement
- In order to review grades advisors must sign a FERPA statement regarding confidentiality.
- This statement should be signed and returned to the Office of Greek Life or greek@highpoint.edu
- Chapter_Advisor_Confidentiality Agreement
- Attend chapter events and activities
- Offer advice or suggestions on goal setting
- Meet individually with the chapter president or other executive board officers on an annual basis
- Maintain contact with the Director/Assistant Director of Greek Life
- Attend Advisor Meetings held once a semester by the Office of Greek Life
