AlinaFor most other interns, their responsibilities don’t include using Pinterest, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Stumbleupon, etc. Since Tambourine is a digital marketing agency, having Facebook and Twitter open on our computers is a pretty common occurrence. Not only do we manage social media for our clients, we also have our own social media accounts to keep up with.

Check out Tambourine’s Facebook page to get an idea of what the company culture is like:

Our social media manager, Tom, asked me to help him during a relatively slow day at the office. He told me to go around and taking pictures of things that would be cool for our Instagram and Facebook page. That was like music to my ears. I went around the office, and aside from getting plenty of weird looks, I got some cool pictures that depict the company’s overall culture. It was also a pretty easy day to capture this since it was Leslie, our graphic designer’s birthday that day. To celebrate, we took some time off our assignments and played a good old game of cornhole. We also started getting creative with the Goldfish snacks and did some different things with the figures we created.

Here are some of the shots I got for my “special assignment”:

We also made a few stop motion animal clips using the Vine app. Click on the links below to view them.

Overall, it was a fun day at the office. It can’t always be all work and no play, right?
