Communication Learning Community

[School of Communication]

The Communication Learning Community prepares first-year students for a variety of careers in the communication industries—from movie making, to video game design, to helping change lifestyle behaviors through public health campaigns. Successful professional communicators combine keen observational and analytic capabilities with fluent expression–both speaking and writing.  Students in the Communication Learning Community will hone their writing skills in English 1103 (College Writing and Public Life), while Communication 1110 (Human Communication) will help students to target messages to identified audiences for maximum impact. If you’re considering a communication career, this learning community is for you.
