Pre-Law: What is Truth? Learning Community

[General Interest] College of Arts & Sciences

Are you the type of person who ponders the big questions, like “How do I live a good life?  What would a truly just society look like?  How do I know the difference between fact and opinion?  What is truth?”  If you are, and you’re looking for a community of others who ask and try to answer these questions, then the What is Truth? Pre-Law Themed Learning Community is for you.  In at least two shared courses—a specially-designed section of English 1103 (College Writing and Public Life), and Philosophy 1006 (Logic and Critical Thinking)—first-year students in the What is Truth Learning Community will grapple with some of abiding mysteries of the human condition, all while enjoying plentiful opportunities to socialize with and learn from other students pursuing majors and careers that require and reward deep contemplation.
