If you are a parent or grandparent, you’re probably all too familiar with the children’s room at the local public library—but did you know that HPU Libraries have children’s books, too? The Resource Center located on the first floor of the School of Education houses over 5,000 books that we would love to share with the children of HPU faculty and staff. The library has something for every reading level and interest, including:
- picture books
- easy readers
- easy chapter books
- graphic novels
- informational books
- oversized books
All faculty and staff—as well as the children in their lives—are invited to attend our open house on the evening of Wednesday, September 24th to explore our rich collections of juvenile literature. Come take a tour, check out books, make new friends, hear a story, and of course, eat cookies! The open house will be hosted by HPU Librarians and will run from 5:30 to 8:00 pm, but feel free to drop in whenever you can make it. We hope to see you (and your little ones) there!
