SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY
As in past years, the Academy invites academic societies, professional organizations, scientific companies and other interested parties to sponsor the activities of its annual meeting. The theme of this year’s annual meeting is Crossing Boundaries: Transforming STEM Research. The program includes distinguished speakers and a variety of workshops and special sessions meant to engage individuals with a variety of interests in science.
The costs involved in delivering a high quality meeting such as this are substantial. Because the Academy maintains comparatively low registration costs and banquet fees to facilitate full participation, especially by undergraduate and graduate students, financial support from sources outside the Academy are a necessary supplement to the registration and banquet fees. This year we invite sponsors to participate at four levels of support (described below). A donation of any amount to fund this year’s meeting is greatly appreciated!
BENEFITS OF SPONSORSHIP
Your contribution, along with contributions from corporate and institutional sources, will enable the Academy to conduct a meeting that will be educational, professionally stimulating and memorable for all who attend. In addition, your organization will be recognized as an important financial supporter on the Annual Meeting website, in the NCAS Newsletter, and in the Annual Meeting program. Upon request, sponsors will also be provided an exhibitor table, which will be centrally located (along with meeting activities) to maximize visibility. Finally, since the NC Academy of Science is a non-profit organization, your contribution is tax-deductible.
To help us recognize your sponsorship, please send us a high resolution image of your logo as soon as possible to awalker@highpoint.edu. We will post your logo on the website as soon as we receive your contribution. For inclusion in the meeting program, all logos must be received by 1 March 2017.
REGISTRATION
Please register any representatives that will be attending the meeting, so that we can have badges and lunches available for them, and be sure to request an exhibitor table if desired. You can access online registration by way of the Online Registration page. The number of registration fees included in each level of sponsorship is included below. Payment of sponsorship with a credit card or PayPal account may be completed through the Online Registration link.
If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Joanne Altman at urcw@highpoint.edu.
