The participants' papers will be published annually in an edited anthology.

This year's speakers are: Jeremy Black, professor of history at the University of Exeter: "The Napoleonic Wars in a Global Context;" Dennis Showalter, history professor with Colorado College: "Reform and Stability: Prussia's Military Dialectic from Hubertusburg to Waterloo;" Robert Epstein, professor of history with the School of Advanced Military Studies, United States Army Command and Staff College: "Military Effectiveness in the Armies of 1813;" and Charles Esdaile, University of Liverpool history professor: "Napoleon as a Strategist."

"We are excited to host this annual seminar honoring the scholarship of Gunther E. Rothenberg," said HPU History Professor Frederick Schneid.
