High Point University’s Department of Physical Therapy, in conjunction with High Point Regional Hospital, will open a community physical therapy pro bono clinic in late 2017 to serve the High Point community. HPU faculty and Doctor of Physical Therapy students will provide their professional services at no cost to patients in need. In addition to providing medical needs, the High Point University pro bono clinic will house a donation-funded food pantry.
Thank you to the families who participated and helped in kicking off The HPU DPT Food Pantry Food Drive on Sunday, October 29, 2017. We started off with a strong 180+ food items for the pro bono clinic’s food pantry, plus were able to experience the smiling faces and laughs from your families enjoying the Halloween activities within the High Point University Community Center.
Stay tuned for dates and information regarding next year’s event alongside the Department of Physical Therapy’s 2nd Annual Halloween Family 5K Fun Run & Walk.
