The course evaluation system at High Point University has been designed to assess student perceptions of instructional quality. This valuable tool allows classroom teachers to evaluate their performance from semester to semester to ensure that students are receiving the highest-quality university education.
Since 2007, the Office of Research and Planning has administered the course evaluation process online, resulting in data that can be easily aggregated and normed. All evaluations are submitted anonymously, and faculty receive only a summary report that contains no identifying information about students. Since the spring of 2016, High Point University has utilized the course evaluation software called CoursEval.
