Below is a list of the chartered cultural organizations on campus. Each organization has specific information about that organization’s purpose, meeting times and locations, contact information, and social media sites.

Black Cultural Awareness (BCA)
Purpose: Black Cultural Awareness promotes an awareness of Black heritage at High Point University and throughout the High Point community. Our goal is to bring students together who have a common interest in the Black culture, and in particular, in its heritage. We wish to create a forum for the free expression of views on the social, economic, legal and political aspects of issues affecting the Black community and to precipitate unity among the minority Black population of High Point University.
Membership Criteria: Members in BCA must be presently enrolled as part/full-time students at High Point University and must have an interest in Black culture and heritage. BCA is a non-secret, non-profit educational organization for students at High Point University. Membership therein shall not be restricted by race, sex, religion, or national origin.

Global Students Association
Purpose: To promote diversity and cultural learning across campus through activities and conferences throughout the area.
Membership Criteria: Anyone with any background; from students that are from NC to Ethiopia. From the perspective of an international student, even Americans are international to them. So really anyone from any background.
Meeting Day: Every other Tuesday
Meeting Time: 7pm
Meeting Location: Webb Conference Center, Room 202

National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ)
Purpose: To network with professionals within the Communications industry.
Membership Criteria: Pay membership dues.
Meeting Day: First Wednesday of Each Month
Meeting Time: 5pm
