Below is a list of the chartered fraternal organizations on campus. Each organization has specific information about that organization’s purpose, meeting times and locations, contact information, and social media sites.
Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC)
Purpose: The purpose of the IFC shall be to:
A. foster and promote mutual cooperation between the IFC, fellow governing councils, and student organizations at High Point University;
B. advance the personal development of each fraternity as an individual organization;
C. provide for the development of each fraternity as an individual organization;
D. promote the general interests and welfare of the associated fraternities as a collective body
E. promote mutual cooperation between the IFC and High Point University, its students, faculty, staff, and local community.
Membership Criteria: The Inter-Fraternity Council is the governing organization representing the seven NIC fraternities on campus. These fraternities include: Beta Theta Pi, Kappa Alpha Order, Kappa Sigma, Pi Kappa Alpha, Pi Kappa Phi, and Sigma Nu. Each organization is represented by two delegates and an elected executive council (6 officers) from the participating fraternities.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
Purpose: The National Pan-Hellenic Council is a collaborative organization of the 9 historically black Greek letter fraternities and sororities.
Membership Criteria: Members of the ‘Divine 9’ (the 9 historically black, international Greek sororities and fraternities)

Purpose: The High Point University Panhellenic Council is the governing body for the 6 established NPC chapters on High Point University’s campus. This sororities include: Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Gamma Delta, Kappa Delta, Phi Mu, Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Tau Alpha. The purpose is to keep all sororities up to date on events in the greek community.
Membership Criteria: Must be selected from your organization to serve as a delegate or representative on the Panhellenic council.
