Academic Standing
Candidates must be a student at High Point University. They must be in good academic standing at the time of the application and for the term of service. Candidates must have and maintain a minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Disciplinary Standing
Candidates are required to be in good disciplinary standing with the University. Having a disciplinary history with the University or department does not eliminate a candidate from consideration, but the nature of the incident(s) may have bearing. Candidates for the position cannot be on disciplinary probation.

Selection Process Timeline

March 21: Interest Meeting. Following the UCAB in Phillips 120.

March 21: Applications open at 9pm following the Interest Meeting, apply using the form below.

March 26th: Completed application due via the form below by 5pm.

March 27th: A required, mandatory Candidate Campaign meeting will be held at 5:00pm-7:00pm in Phillips 216. Election guidelines will be covered and campaigning will officially begin at the conclusion of the meeting.

March 27th – March 31st: Campaigning. The period begins on March 27th after the Candidate Campaign meeting and ends on March 31st at 11:59PM.

April 1st – April 3rd: Voting.Voting will take place on HPU Connect. Polls will open at 12:01 AM and will close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, April 3rd.

April 4th:  Results given to candidates by 12pm.
