Academic Program
Established in 1884, Bangor University is ranked Number One in Wales for Teaching Quality. Bangor University has state of the art study facilities including a Computer Science labs, Ocean-Going Research Vessel and Media Studies Center equipped with editing suites, productions studio and digital media equipment. Credit Transfer
For High Point University to recognize the credits you complete abroad, you must earn at least a grade equivalent to a C in the U.S. HPU will not accept credit for courses with grades of C– or below. Grades for all courses earned abroad are recorded on the international transcript. Credits are received by HPU as transfer credits, which means the credit is received but the grade is not. Your HPU grade point average will not be impacted positively or negatively by your study abroad courses.

Housing
HPU students studying abroad at Bangor University students can live in Residential Housing on campus. There is also the option of a home stay, though spots are limited.

Cost Breakdown for Fall 2012 & Spring 2013
Application Fee: $500.00
The application fee is non-refundable. Due at time of application.
Program Fee: $15,357.50
The program fee is payable to High Point University and includes tuition and fees. Participants are billed at the HPU All-Inclusive Fee rate of $19,900 with a less of $2,630 for housing not included and $2,812.50 for meals not included.

What will I experience at Bangor University?
Bangor University has more than 80 clubs, sports and societies to help students meet new people and get involved with the university. The university is also located near many exciting attractions. Some of these include places like Anglesey, one of the most popular island destinations in North Wales, and Snowdonia National Park.
