Where Can I Study Abroad for My Major?

As students begin thinking about studying abroad, the question often comes up, “Where can I study abroad for my major?”

High Point University students have several options for a semester abroad program. Many of these programs offer a range of courses that may be able to be used in different ways for your degree, satisfying even major or University Core requirements. Some programs, however, may be better suited for students in a specific field of study. Additionally, some majors may require students work within a detailed framework.

Below you’ll find a starting point for searching for coursework within various majors at our exchange partner locations. It’s possible that courses you desire to take abroad may or may not be offered at every university. Finding courses that work for your major takes careful planning, working closely with both your academic advisor and study abroad advisor. Contact the Office of Study Abroad for an advising appointment by calling (336) 841-9280.
