Office of Academic Development – Summer School

High Point University’s summer programs are designed to enhance the benefit of learning for
students who wish to enroll in courses during the summer. Both HPU students and students
from other universities may take courses during our summer sessions. With online, day, and
evening classes, summer learners can take full advantage of additional course credits.

We welcome you to our campus and are excited to have you join our High Point University
family, if only for a few months. Summer course enrollment and registration for summer only
students is conducted through the Office of Academic Development. Continuing HPU Day
students may register through the Office of Academic Development, 4 th floor Smith Library.
Evening degree students register through the Evening Degree Program office in 128 Norcross
Hall.

HPU AWAY, High Point University’s online summer school program, is designed to allow HPU
students the opportunity to continue taking classes over the summer from the comfort of
home. Online classes offer the student convenience and flexibility from home or wherever
summer plans may take you.
