Now that many HPU faculty had the pleasure of workshopping with Jose Bowen on technology and education, it’s time to start thinking about how to incorporate more technology and resources into your classroom.  HPU Libraries will be hosting a series of end of the semester faculty workshops (starting Tuesday, May 6th) to help with research, streaming, and better using library resources in your classrooms.  The topics that will be covered include:

  • Business Information Sources
  • Health and Medical Resources
  • EndNote
  • Juvenile Literature Online
  • BiblioBoard
  • Films on Demand (streaming video)
  • SocINDEX
  • HootSuite
  • Primary Sources for History
  • ILLiad and ILL
  • Statistics Sources
  • Open Library

Check out the image above for the times of each session.  They will all be around 30 minutes, with time for questions and workshopping.  All sessions will be held in the Instruction Lab on the first floor of Smith Library.  RSVP is not required, but if you have any questions please contact Kathy Shields or Samantha Harlow.
