Completed in 1992, the Millis Athletic and Convocation Center includes a gymnasium/convocation
center which seats 2500 people. The Pearl Payne Center adjoins Millis and houses a natatorium which includes an
8-lane Olympic-sized swimming pool, the Carr Rehabilitation Center which currently serves as home to the
University's program in Sports Medicine, offices for faculty and coaches, classrooms, conference suite,
aerobics center, weight-training center, 3 racquetball/handball courts.
Men's and women's basketball home
games are played in the Millis Center, as well as women's volleyball. The Millis family was also responsible
for the construction of six tennis courts which adjoin the arena. In 2006, the Millis Center arena was
upgraded to include a Jumbotron, digital scorers table, and plasma TVs.
