Built in 1924, McEwen is one of the original buildings on the High Point University campus,
housing 117 female students on three floors. In 2006, McEwen was extensively renovated to include
carpeting, ceiling fans, new cabinetry, new sinks, walk-in showers, new doors with doorknockers, mini
blinds on all the windows, and comes fully furnished with two standard twin beds, two desks
with chairs, two dressers, and a walk-in closet.
McEwen is arranged suite style with two rooms sharing a bathroom on the first and second floors.
The third floor of McEwen has traditional hall bathrooms.
