Built in 2004 and named for former La-Z-Boy Chairman, Patrick H. Norton, this building houses the Knabusch-Schumaker International School of Home Furnishings. Surrounding a three-story atrium are classrooms, computer-aided design (CAD) lab, design studios, display gallery, faculty offices, advanced technology lecture room, library, lighting lab and textile room.

The Home Furnishings library contains reference books, trade magazines and numerous periodicals all for home furnishings and interior design. A highlight of this building is the La-Z-Boy conference room -- the most hi-tech, state-of-the-art conference room in the Southeast with 85 leather La-Z-Boy chairs and touch-screen technology.
