URCW Travel Grant Application for Faculty Mentors

  • Please read the Grant Info & Application page under the HPU Grants tab before submitting this application. Faculty should complete this form to request support for themselves and the students they are accompanying. Students only complete the Student travel Grant Application if they are not going to be accompanied by a faculty mentor. Students are not eligible for funding for events which occur after they graduate.

  • Faculty are eligible to receive up to $1500 and students are eligible to receive up to $1000 a year. Be sure to read the Budget Guidelines before submitting your application. Please explain budget expenses which are not self-evident in the space provided. Expenses must be separated by individual.

Athletic Training & ACL Injuries

Andrea Baellow, an athletic training major, shares her experiences performing undergraduate research on the relation of the hip to ACL injuries and their prevalence in younger females. Her experiential education at High Point University was supported by the state of the art Human Biomechanics & Physiology Lab, where she could apply what she has learned with hands-on experience.
