WAGE Project

Welcome to the Women and Gender Equity Leadership Project!

The Women and Gender Equity (W.A.G.E.) Leadership Project is an interdisciplinary initiative that engages HPU students in leadership training, career development workshops, and programming activities geared toward preparing them for professional success and civic leadership. Open to men and women, W.A.G.E. programming and activities will explore the gendered dynamics of the workplace, civic engagement, and leadership. Film screenings and lectures by guest speakers will be open to the entire HPU community, while hands-on workshops and team-building activities will be reserved for participants in the W.A.G.E. cohorts.

W.A.G.E. is a new program which offers:

  • Free events to students and the public regarding equity within the workplace.
  • Special workshops, skill sessions, and training programs exclusively available to students working toward the W.A.G.E. Leadership Certificate.
  • The W.A.G.E. Leadership Certificate: a semester long program open to students looking to further enhance their leadership skills and understand gender in the workplace on a deeper level.
