VIP Open House

High Point University attracts students from all 50 states, and every Open House attendee gets to enjoy a session with our dynamic President, Dr. Nido Qubein. Most colleges don’t even have their president speak to future students, but HPU is different. Dr. Qubein is not only HPU’s President, he’s also an amazing mentor. Every freshman takes his Seminar on Life Skills. Life Skills distinguish HPU graduates, and this is one of the reasons that 99% of HPU graduates are employed or continuing their education within 180 days of graduation. That’s 14 points higher than the national average. You will want to experience Dr. Qubein in person for sure.

VIP Personalized Tour

If big excited crowds aren’t your thing, the personalized tour may be a better fit for you. On this tour, you and your family will be driven on a golf cart while a current HPU student ambassador shares insight on what it’s like to be an HPU student. You’ll also be introduced to our Freshman Success Coach Program. Think about it, you’ll have your own professional success coach when you enroll at HPU! Plus, we will explain the Project Discovery Program – HPU’s 8 step program that helps students figure out what they should major in. (Most college freshmen don’t know what they want to study – so we created this program to help them identify their academic passion.)
