HIGH POINT, N.C., Nov. 20, 2009 ? High Point University students participating in the Business Strategy Game earned top honors worldwide during the week of Nov. 9-15.
The Business Strategy Game is an online exercise where teams of students run an athletic footwear company in a head-to-head competition against other student teams for global market leadership.
The HPU team ? “B Comfortable” ? which included Paul Abell, William Gess and Jeremy Hiatt, tied for first place during the week’s competition. Scores are updated each Monday, which measures the overall score, earnings per share, return on average and stock price.
The team was up against competition from 826 teams from 264 colleges and universities participating in the simulation worldwide.
