HIGH POINT, N.C., March 9, 2011 ? The Phillips School of Business and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at High Point University will host ?Becoming an Investor Ready Entrepreneur,? a program of the Small Business Technology and Development Center (SBTDC), from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on March 23.
The program will offer students, faculty and local business professionals a one-day session designed to educate and prepare growth-oriented entrepreneurs to find, meet and succeed when engaging private investors. The program was developed with direct input from experienced investors, venture capitalists and entrepreneurs, and includes these professionals as participants, providing an ?insider?s look? into the world of early-stage fundraising.
