HIGH POINT, N.C., June 15, 2012 – The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at High Point University recently hired Jamie Kirschner as an admissions counselor.
In her new position, Kirschner will travel to serve as admissions counselor in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Vermont. She will also assist prospective students through the application process at HPU.
“I am ecstatic to be a part of such an influential and motivating environment surrounded by some of the most positive, caring and genuine people I’ve met,” says Kirschner. “I cannot wait to see the developments and accomplishments of HPU to come.”
As an admissions counselor, Kirschner says she hopes to display the same characteristics to prospective students as the campus, faculty, staff and students of HPU do.
“My goal is to reach out to as many students as possible and get to know each one on a personal level so that they may really understand the essence of the HPU experience,” she says. “I will make myself available to answer questions and provide guidance to the best of my ability in order to make their experience the best it can be.”
Kirschner received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in marketing-communications and advertising with a minor in psychology from Western New England University in Springfield, Mass.
