The Phillips School of Business\u2019s Marketing Minor teaches students from all majors to think strategically and to make smart business decisions that benefit not only companies and individuals, but also society at large. This minor will give a student five experientially rich courses in the life skills of listening, crafting messages that attract the desired audience, and strategizing to build a loyal following. In the foundation course, students learn marketing\u2019s primary functions\u2014consumer behavior, market research, advertising, and marketing strategy; then conclude the course with a unique four-week module of confidence-building professional selling.
