The Spring 2022 Commencement Ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 7 at 9:00 a.m. on Roberts Hall Lawn.
Commencement is a weekend of celebration, including other optional events like Onward with Faithful Courage and a Baccalaureate Service, that are held throughout the day on Friday, May, 6.  Please look through the information on the website regarding activities, ticketing, cap and gown information, and much more.

Tickets for Onward with Faithful Courage and Baccalaureate may be picked up on the Slane Student Center track on April 28 from 8:30am-7:00pm. From April 29 to May 6, tickets may be picked up during normal office hours (8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday and 10:00am-2:00pm Saturday) at the Slane Student Center Concierge Desk.

Ticket Information

Onward with Faithful Courage 

– (Open to all Graduates) – No limit on the number of tickets. Graduates and guests are required to have a ticket. A ticket does not guarantee a seat inside the Nido and Mariana Qubein Conference Center. Overflow seating will be provided.

Baccalaureate 

– (Bachelor Degree Students Only) –  Each bachelor degree student will be permitted a maximum of 2 guest tickets and 1 graduate ticket.  A ticket does not guarantee a seat inside the sanctuary of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. Overflow seating for guests with tickets will be provided in the church fellowship hall.

Graduation Ceremony 

– *Not a ticketed event. Guests will be seated on a first come, first served basis.


August and December 2021 candidates for graduation who are not able to pick up tickets at the designated location are asked to contact the Campus Concierge at (336) 841-4636.

The graduation ceremony will be broadcasted live at www.highpoint.edu/live-stream.

Graduating students should keep an eye out for emails from High Point University with more Commencement details, including a timeline on how to stay on track to participate in Commencement.
