Academic Violations<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Initial Meeting and Case Handling:<\/strong> If a student is suspected of an academic violation of the University Honor Code, the instructor will meet with you to discuss the charges. After this conference, if the instructor concludes that the charges have merit, they may choose to either adjudicate the case directly, refer the case to the University Honor Court through the Office of Community Standards, or allow you to choose between these options. Before this meeting, the instructor will check your file to see if prior sanctions for Honor Code violations exist.
