The High Point Community Orchestra, under the director of Associate Professor of Music, Dr. Brian Meixner, presents “Awakenings” on Monday, November 28th at 7:30pm in HPU’s Hayworth Fine Arts Center. This performance will include Beethoven’s epic Symphony No. 5 and Joseph Curiale’s Awakening. Both of these works have a “triumph over adversity” theme that audience members will be sure to find inspirational. Also featured on the program will be the winner of the 2022-23 HPU Student Concerto Competition.
For parking, please enter campus at the University Parkway entrance. You will be directed to parking in Lot A across the street from the Hayworth Fine Arts Center.
