On Friday March 29, 2019 the author of\u00a0\u201cHotdogs and Hamburgers: Unlocking Life\u2019s Potential by Inspiring Literacy at Any Age\u201d<\/em>, Rob Shindler spent the day at High Point University. The book was a great read, and all of the education fellows were looking forward this book discussion. It was a rather casual event that made everyone comfortable, and the conversations were more genuine. After talking with Shindler and getting a chance to ask any lingering questions, we all got a better understanding of the personal side to his book. He had a chance to talk about the behind the scenes of this book and continued this story past where the book ended. This personal connection allowed us to enjoy the book in a whole new way which was an amazing experience.
