Dr. Carriker’s research agenda examines the effects of dietary nitrate and other dietary supplements on sub-maximal oxygen consumption, oxidative stress and arterial stiffness within various environmental conditions including high altitude, heat and cold environments. He has also provided symposiums and workshops at numerous conferences including American College of Sports Medicine’s Health and Fitness Summit, National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Annual National Conference and Exhibition, and IDEA World Fitness Convention.
