Lani Skelley grew up performing professionally in and around the Northeast Ohio area at theaters such as Porthouse Theater, Cleveland Playhouse, and Magical Theater Company while simultaneously competitively dancing at Starmaker Performing Arts Center. She went on to receive her BFA in Acting at The University of Arts in Philadelphia, PA where she had the opportunity to not only grow as a performer but discover “the other side of the table.” Favorite acting credits include, Bye Bye Birdie (Sad Girl), And Then They Came for Me (Anne Frank), Nip (Meg), Cheesy Puffs (Becca), & The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet van de Graaf). Directing credits include And Then They Came for Me (UARTS) & Date Night (Friends Studios). Lani comes to the School of Arts and Design after previously working in HPU Admissions as an Admissions Counselor and the Arts Liaison. She has a passion for arts education and collaborating with young up and coming artists to help them foster their artistic voice.
