Moving to High Point, NC?<\/h3>\n

Our handy Relocation Guide for Incoming Graduate Students will provide you with insight into all things High Point, NC. A list of apartments, banking, outdoor activities, shopping, restaurants and other pertinent information can all be found in the guide.<\/p>\n

On-Campus Housing<\/a> – Housing information for Graduate students can be found under the Graduate tab of the Residence Halls section<\/p>\n

Important First Steps<\/h3>\n

Matriculation Deposit<\/b> – Accepted applicants must pay a nonrefundable matriculation deposit by the deadline outlined in their admission letter; the matriculation deposit is credited to the account of the student for the term of admission and cannot be waived or applied to another term. An offer of admission is good for the designated term only and is void if it is not accepted. To pay an admission deposit, please click the deposit link in your application portal.<\/p>\n

Financial Aid <\/b>–\u00a0Many graduate students use the Free Application for Federal Student Aid<\/a> (FAFSA) loans to support their graduate education (HPU School Code 002933). \u00a0FAFSA loans are managed through the Office of Student Financial Planning<\/a>, which is located on the first floor of Roberts Hall.<\/p>\n

Tuition & Fees –<\/strong> Graduate Tuition & Fees<\/a><\/p>\n

Tuition\/Payment Options –\u00a0<\/b>Payment for tuition can be made by check, money order or credit card (Mastercard, Discover, and American Express). A\u00a0convenience fee may\u00a0be applied to all payments paid by credit card or debit card. The Office of Student Accounts<\/a> is located on the first\u00a0floor of Roberts Hall.<\/p>\n

Academic Calendar<\/b> –\u00a0Mark your calendars with important dates<\/a>, including new student orientation<\/p>\n

New Student Orientation\/Registration<\/b> –\u00a0Each student will be required to attend a new student orientation prior to the start of the semester. At new student orientation each student will get a chance to meet with their program coordinator, register for classes, order books\u00a0and make tuition payments.<\/p>\n

Campus Life<\/h3>\n

Parking Sticker – <\/b>In order to register your vehicle for the academic year, please click\u00a0here<\/a>. To log in and register you will use your network username and password. While there, you should review the updated parking regulations.\u00a0Please bring your\u00a0vehicle registration to New Student Orientation\u00a0in order to obtain your parking decal.\u00a0If you need assistance with registering your vehicle, please call the Security Service Center\u00a0at (336) 841-9142.<\/p>\n

Passport Card –\u00a0<\/b>The Passport Card will not only serve as your identification on campus but it will also provide\u00a0access to academic buildings and the library and is the only way to pay for food and other merchandise on campus. Passport Cards can be obtained in the Security office at the R.G. Wanek Center.\u00a0High Point University is a cashless campus, students may add money to their Passport Card “general account” online<\/a>, at a Passport ATM or at the University Cashier’s office on the first floor of Roberts Hall.<\/p>\n

Information Technology<\/b> –\u00a0After being accepted all students will\u00a0receive\u00a0a valid High Point University email address which the Graduate\u00a0School uses as the primary source of communication. To find out how to set up your email on your phone or reset your password, please visit the website<\/a> for the Office of Information Technology.<\/p>\n

Books –\u00a0<\/b>Your High Point University Bookstore is the number one source for textbooks. \u00a0Books for all classes need to be ordered online<\/a> 24 – 48 hours prior to pick-up in person at the Bookstore on the High Point University Campus.<\/p>\n
