To Create a Digital Version of your Work for Consideration for a High-PURCS\u00a0 Award<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Oral Presentations:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

You may create a video of your work in any form you wish. Performances can be recorded. You can tape yourself giving an oral presentation (lecture style). You can voice over a PowerPoint presentation.\u00a0 To make things easy for the judges, we will then have you upload your video to YouTube.<\/p>\n

Posters:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Even posters can have a short introduction. You can submit your PDF poster along with a short YouTube video of you introducing yourself and your research. It shouldn’t be more than 2 minutes.<\/strong> If you wish to present something longer it should be an oral presentation format.\u00a0 The short introduction is for context.\u00a0 In your video you can offer an introduction to how you got started in the project and what it’s about. You can also focus on what it’s about and what you found. However, it should not be a full summary of your project; it’s more like an elevator pitch.<\/p>\n

Performances and Exhibits:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Performances and Exhibits should serve more like oral presentations since you will have video format. However, you can add the second YouTube summary from the poster format if your video stands alone. Or you can use something like ZOOM or WebEx where you can talk about your work while you are showing it.<\/p>\n
