High Point University has hundreds of students who land prestigious internships and research opportunities each year. Students work internships throughout the academic year, but summer is a popular time to travel and work in numerous locations across the country to gain experience and give back.
This summer, you can follow the HPU Summer Experiential Learning Blog to read about some of those students and their amazing quests. Take Bronte Dakota for example. She’s writing stories for the infamous Huffington Post in its Impact Section. Or read about Bradley Taylor, who’s serving as a laboratory intern for the second summer in a row to study protein fluorescence. Later in the summer, Rachel Sniff, a recent graduate from the School of Education, will travel to Ethiopia to study and implement literacy programs there.
Each of their experiences are unique, but they all have one goal in mind – to further the extradordinary, holistic education they’re receiving at HPU.
