This service is reserved for HPU faculty.<\/p>\n<p>Items available for delivery:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Books, videos, CDs, music scores, maps, DVDs, or other items held at one of the HPU Library locations.<\/li>\n<li>Individual journal articles from a bound or current periodical or microfiche. (Journals are generally non-circulating items, so we cannot send entire journals.)\u00a0Scanned articles will be delivered electronically to your email. You can check the status of an item by logging into <a href=\"https:\/\/2123.account.worldcat.org\/profile\/route\/openurl?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">your HPUShare account.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please allow at least one business day for items to be processed and delivered by Campus Mail. Requested materials will be delivered Monday through Friday during the fall and spring semesters and Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the summer sessions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Campus Delivery is available to any faculty who would like their <span class=\"marku2iohiuif\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">ILL<\/span> (or any library held) book delivered to their campus address. Campus delivery is limited to the central HPU campus. The borrower is also responsible for returning the item to Smith Library. The Campus Delivery option can be found on the <span class=\"marku2iohiuif\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">ILL<\/span> book request form under Pickup Location.<\/div>\n<div data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Faculty: If the book or item desired is held by Smith Library and you would like it delivered to your campus address, simply select the Interlibrary Loan (<span class=\"marku2iohiuif\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">ILL<\/span>) link to the right of the catalog record. Fill out the form and when you get to Pickup Location, select Campus Delivery (faculty only \/ limited to central campus).<\/div>\n<p>Please contact <a href=\"mailto:ill@highpoint.edu\">ill@highpoint.edu<\/a> with any questions regarding Document Delivery services.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Interlibrary Loan (HPUShare)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If the HPU Libraries do not own an item needed for your research, you may request the item from another library through Interlibrary Loan. This service is available to HPU students, faculty, and staff. Items include books, audio and visual items, articles, microform items, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Articles can be delivered electronically to the patron\u2019s email in about 1-3 days. Books take a bit longer, between 1 and 3 weeks. Please keep in mind when requesting materials that these are the average turnaround times. Instructional or specialty video and audio materials, dissertations, music scores, and most other types of items can be requested. Items can be picked up in Smith Library.<\/p>\n<p>You can make ILL requests and check their status by logging into <a href=\"https:\/\/2123.account.worldcat.org\/profile\/route\/openurl?\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">your HPUShare account.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><u>Renewing ILLs<\/u>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How can an ILL item be renewed?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To request a renewal of your ILL item, please contact <a href=\"mailto:ill@highpoint.edu\">ill@highpoint.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When can a renewal be requested?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is advisable to request a renewal one to two weeks before the due date. This gives the lending library enough time to process the request and complete the renewal. If the due date has passed and you still want to renew, contact <a href=\"mailto:ill@highpoint.edu\">ill@highpoint.edu<\/a>. A renewal request will be sent to the lending library from the ILL office.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What if the request is denied?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If a renewal is denied, another ILL request for the same item can be submitted through HPUShare.
