The libraries of HPU primarily serve to promote the research and learning endeavors of students and faculty. However, a significant part of the mission of HPU Libraries is to encourage lifelong learning among all of our university constituent users.<\/p>\n

HPU staff are warmly encouraged to use our libraries for:
\n\u2022 Professional development
\n\u2022 Leisure reading, listening and viewing
\n\u2022 Workshops<\/p>\n

Library personnel are on duty in three main library facilities when classes are in session:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Smith Library is the main library on campus, serving as a study area and as a repository of faculty and staff-selected resources. Items available for check-out from Smith include: DVD\/Blu-rays, current fiction titles, audio books, board games, CDs, current periodicals, newspapers \u2026 and much more! Smith is open 24\/7 during the regular semester, to meet the study needs of our students, faculty and staff.<\/p>\n

\u2022 R.G. Wanek Center. Popular and young adult fiction titles can be checked out from the 3rd floor Learning Commons.<\/p>\n

\u2022 School of Education Resource Center houses a collection of juvenile and education-related materials that are available for check out.<\/p>\n
