HPU Libraries is here to help you work hard and play hard too. Whether you are looking for the latest research, latest leisure reading releases, or even the newest or most obscure film releases, HPU Libraries is here to support you. This blog will give you a brief overview of the resources and services that you have at your disposal at HPU. As always, if you ever have any questions, you can always ask a librarian (we\u2019ll get to that in just a moment.)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Library Locations and Hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HPU Libraries is made up of four different library locations. Smith Library is the main academic library on campus, the Martha Luck Comer Learning Commons in Wanek Center is a leisure reading\/quiet study library, the Children&#8217;s library at the Stout School of Education provides resources for education-related materials, and the Bassett Furniture Library in Norton Hall houses a collection of materials related to the furniture market. Most of our libraries are open 24\/5 except for the Children\u2019s Library and the Bassett Furniture Collection. Smith Library is also home to the campus print shop which provides specialized academic printing services. The library and its librarians are available any time that the library is open and can be reached by telephone, email, text, online chat, or by appointment. Remember, when in doubt, ask a librarian!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HPU Libraries provides users access to a wide range of resources. Smith Library also houses a state-of-the-art podcasting studio and makerspace that are equipped to support all your creative needs. Here at HPU Libraries, our goal is to make searching as easy and effective as possible. To begin your search, you can start by going to the library website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/library\">www.highpoint.edu\/library<\/a>. From here, you have a wide variety of places to look to begin your search. For basic searches, try using the library catalog. For more deliberate searching, try using our \u201cDatabases A-Z\u201d list or our research guides. All these resources offer highly customizable searching so you can make your searches as simple or complex as you need.
